Pausing your subscription can be helpful if you don't want to be billed this month, and have additional time on your TorBox account you want to use up, or want to keep your discount, but essentially cancel your subscription until you want to pay later. You can even pause your subscription for months after expiration and it'll still be there!
Pausing is very helpful, and is only available to subscription made through Chargebee. Follow the below steps to see how to do it!
ChargeBee Guide
Go to your TorBox settings page. You can find it by clicking on your avatar on the top right of the dashboard page and clicking the "Settings" button, or by simply going to https://torbox.app/settings.
Under the "Account" section, find the subscription you want to pause. Simply click "Manage Subscription". This must be a "Chargebee" subscription, otherwise, you are not able to pause it. No other subscription systems with TorBox allow pausing.
After a few moments it will take you to the below page where you are able to manage all of your "Chargebee" subscriptions.
In here, find the correct subscription you would like to pause and click on it. This will take you to the below page, where you can see more details and more controls for this subscription. Notice there is a line labeled "Pause Subscription". Click this text.
It will take you to the following screen which tells you exactly what happens when you pause your subscription, so you are aware. If you confirm, click the button "Pause Subscription".
It will take you back to the previous screen which has the details of your subscription. Instead, at the top, you will see a green box, asking you to resume your subscription. When you are wanting to resume, you can click this button. The presence of this green box also means your subscription was successfully paused.
If you go back out of the subscription you will see that the subscription says "Paused" meaning it has been successfully paused. You are now free to leave this window and go back to TorBox.app.
Please be aware that the TorBox settings page subscription listing does not have any information that you paused your subscription. It will continue to say "ACTIVE" even if paused.
