How Does The TorBox Cache Work?
How Does The TorBox Cache Work?

The TorBox cache allows you to have instant downloads, without waiting for torrents to download.

Updated over 3 months ago

The TorBox cache fabric powers the back end of TorBox. When you download a file to TorBox, it is saved to our cache. If you download the torrent for Big Buck Bunny to your TorBox account, it is saved for at least 30 days. If someone else downloads the same torrent in those 30 days, their download would be instant, and they won't have to wait for the file to download to TorBox.

This is a popular feature, allowing users of TorBox to support users. Usually, this can be popular torrents, but even obscure torrents benefit from this as well.

All download types are cached. Torrents, Web Downloads, and Usenet Downloads are all compatible with the cache.
