Why Download Links Stop Working
TorBox download links are valid for 3 hours.
After 3 hours, the link expires and may stop working. If this happens, return to your TorBox dashboard and generate a new download link.
Common Issues
An expired or rate-limited link can show up in a few different ways:
The link no longer opens and returns an invalid presigned token error
The download fails in your browser or download manager
You see 429 / Too Many Requests
The download starts, then stops partway through
Solution
Create a new download link from your TorBox dashboard.
If you are using a download manager, such as IDM or JDownloader, set the max connections to 4 or less.
Please also avoid using the same download link in more than one app, device, or download manager at the same time. This can trigger rate limits and cause the download to fail.
Recommended settings
Max connections: 4 or less
Use one device or app per link
Generate a new link after 3 hours
The max connection limit may change later, but 4 or less is currently recommended.
